A Heart Full of Gratitude

This year hasn't been an easy one for many of us.  The pandemic has affected the majority of us, in one way or another.  But it has also been an opportunity to re-evaluate our lives and reflect more deeply about the things that we hold dear. So this year, as we gather around the dinner table with our family and friends to enjoy a bountiful meal, let's remember to be grateful for all the blessings that we still have, and celebrate those more wholeheartedly than ever.  Read the beautiful poem below by Ralph Waldo Emerson to remind yourself of all the wonderful little things that we often take for granted. Let's try to be thankful for all of these things not just on Thanksgiving day, but throughout the rest of the year, because only with an attitude of thankfulness can we unlock all of God's blessings in our lives.

"Thank you for your incredible service.  I never had a chance to study for an academic degree when I was younger, and I always felt that this held me back in life.  This has finally leveled the playing field for me, and now I can hold my head up a little higher as I introduce myself as an honorary doctor.  Thanks again."
